The largest is the 25,000 sq m covered warehouse for SIYAT Group at Bilaspur, Gurugram, on a 12.5-acre site, with civil, PHE and the external development. Transport Corporation of India has used SAI BA twice: warehouse and allied buildings with development works at Tajnagar, Farrukhnagar, and a warehouse at Plot WH-1, Neemrana EPIP. OM Logistics three times: a 40,000 sq ft warehouse with external roads at Sisana, Kharkhoda; a G+4 building at Jamalpur; and a warehouse at Nilothi now under construction.

ASV Electronics' 40,000 sq ft warehouse at Ecotech-1 Extension, Greater Noida, and the Tachi-S warehouse at GIDC Bhagapura, Ahmedabad, are the two OEM-side stores in the portfolio.

The yard is part of the building

3 of the 8 warehouse projects included the roads, drains and external development in the same contract. A dock that floods or a yard a 40-foot trailer cannot turn in is not the building's fault, but it is the operator's problem. One contractor for both means one programme and one point of responsibility.

How we size the enquiry

Covered area in sq ft or sq m, clear height in metres, pallet positions and the racking system you plan to run, dock count and floor loading. If you have a 3PL client already signed, their specification usually settles most of it. PEB is the usual answer for a single-storey warehouse; RCC where mezzanines or multi-storey storage are wanted, as at the Keshwana complex with its 1,00,000 sq ft mezzanine warehouse.
