12,000 MT agri logistics centre — O&M

FHEL, a unit of CONCOR, operates a 12,000 MT agri logistics centre at Rai, Sonipat. SAI BA holds the operation and maintenance contract for the whole plant.

On the cold side that covers the controlled atmosphere systems, the nitrogen plant, the CO2 scrubbers, the CA chamber doors and fans, the refrigeration racks, chiller plants, AHUs and cooling towers, and the Carel temperature monitoring. On the electrical side it covers the DG sets, transformers, HT and LT panels, motors, pumps and servo stabilisers. The scope also takes in the water softening plants and bore wells, the ETP, the fire and alarm systems, the sorting, grading and packing line with its control panels, the weighing machines, the dock levellers and the pump room.

A contractor who maintains a CA plant learns exactly where chambers leak, where condensate collects and which penetrations fail. That knowledge goes back into the stores the firm builds.
