What the work involves
- Prepare running account bills against the contract BOQ, with measurement sheets the client's engineer signs.
- Take joint measurements on site and keep the measurement book current.
- Certify subcontractor bills against the work done and the rates agreed.
- Reconcile steel, cement and other materials, client-issued or bought, against the drawings.
- Record variations and extra items with the drawings and instructions that support them.
What we look for
- Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3 to 7 years of billing on building or industrial contracts.
- Confident with Excel and measurement sheets; AutoCAD for quantity take-off is an advantage.
- Knows the standard methods of measurement used on Indian building contracts.
