Valley Fresh Pvt Ltd commissioned a 5,000 MT controlled atmosphere store at the SIDCO Industrial Area, Lassipora, Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. SAI BA delivered the building, the insulated envelope, the electrical installation and the refrigeration plant as a single turnkey scope.
It is one of two 5,000 MT CA stores in the portfolio. The other is for Suroop Fresh at Shahapur, Thane, Maharashtra, at the opposite end of the country. Lassipora is also where SAI BA built a 60,000 sq ft CA store with a packing and grading building for Fruit Master Agro.
Three of the firm's cold chain projects are in Jammu and Kashmir: this store, the Fruit Master Agro store at Lassipora and the 65,000 sq ft FIL Industries CA store and pack house at Rangreth, Srinagar.
