5,600 MT pack house

For HPMC, the Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation, SAI BA designed, supplied and installed a 5,600 MT capacity pack house at Tutupani, Shimla, including the civil works, on a turnkey basis.

It is one of six HPMC engagements: a 1,000 MT pack house at Bhuntar, Kullu, on the same turnkey basis; the upgradation of the fruit processing plant at Parwanoo, Solan, including equipment supply and testing; civil work for the upgradation, expansion and strengthening of post-harvest infrastructure at Rohru; the renovation of the corporation's controlled atmosphere stores at Jarol Tikkar and Gumma; and annual maintenance contracts for its CA stores at four locations.

Note the unit: 5,600 MT is pack house throughput capacity, not CA storage capacity. The largest CA store SAI BA has built is 5,000 MT.
